About Candace
In her own words:
"Born and raised in Tennessee, I bring a perspective to my work in Utah that is informed by diverse cultural experiences and a commitment to understanding each client beyond regional norms or expectations.Shaped by lived experience, unexpected trials, and a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives. I value working with adolescents and adults navigating life’s complexities, including mental health challenges, shame, ADHD, Autism, body image, compulsive thought patterns, LGBTQIA+, identity, relationship struggles, grief, spirituality, life transitions, self-worth, and substance use.

My background spans across wilderness therapy, residential treatment, school settings, and private practice where I’ve supported individuals through emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges. I integrate evidence-based modalities with experiential approaches, grounded in empathy and when appropriate, a touch of humor. Whether in the office or through walk-and-talk sessions in nature for those grounded in movement."
